What Bill Manager's Bank Originator IDs (also known as ACH IDs) are and How to Use Them

This article explains what Bank Originator IDs are and how to provide them to your bank to ensure Bill Manager payments are never blocked or delayed. It contains the following sections:

What is a Bank Originator code (ID)?

An Originator ID (or ACH Company ID) is a unique 10-digit identification number assigned by a bank to a company, used to identify that organization when it initiates electronic payments (ACH debits/credits) from a customer's account.

Why do I need it?

Banks often put filters on your account to stop unauthorized companies from taking funds. While this is a good thing, it can also prevent Bill Manager from debiting your account when you make payments.

What do I need to do?

Let your bank know that Bill Manager is authorized and has your permission to debit your account. Next, supply them with all of the originator IDs listed for your bank in the chart below.

You’ll only need to do this once.
